The only thing better than a cocktail...is a cocktail with bacon! Check out this BLT Mary made with local pastured pork bacon and VA-grown hydroponic lettuce.
Ingredients:
- Bacon salt (or hickory smoked salt mixed with brown sugar) - 1-2 slices of cooked bacon, some fat reserved
- 1/8 tsp Liquid Smoke - 2oz vodka - 4oz Bloody Brilliant - Green butterhead or bibb lettuce for garnish
Method:
Rub the rim of the glass with bacon fat, then coat the rim with the salt. Combine the vodka, Liquid Smoke, and Bloody Mary mix in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and pour contents into the glass. Garnish with a bacon strip and lettuce leaves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
